Pancakes with Principals

At Nimitz Elementary, we know that regular attendance is necessary for students to learn and progress.  So to reward those students that have good, regular attendance, every six weeks, they get to have PANCAKES WITH THE PRINCIPALS.  Mrs. Althaus and Mrs. Johnson pass out yummy hot pancakes and spend time with the students.

Firefighters Visit Nimitz

Local Firefighters came to visit during Fire Prevention Week.  They shared about the importance of their jobs, what do in case of a fire, and about the dangers of and how to prevent fires.  The students really enjoyed learning about all of the equipment that is used to fight fires.  A few of the teachers even put on the equipment to demonstrate.  Thank you to all of the local fire departments for ensuring the safety of all Kerr County residents.
